In a continued show of compassion and dedication to community welfare, the Yemi Oshe Foundation, led by its founder, Opeyemi Bamidele Omotoyinbo, has extended its widow palliative programme to more towns and villages in Ekiti State. The recent outreach covered Iworoko, Awo, and Iropora Ekiti, bringing relief and support to widows in need.
In Iworoko Ekiti, the palliatives were received by High Chief Odofin Bada, the Odofin of Iworoko, who expressed gratitude on behalf of beneficiaries. At Awo Ekiti, Chief Yusuf Ogundele took delivery of the items, commending the foundation for its consistent commitment to humanitarian causes. In Iropora Ekiti, the distribution was jointly received by Oba Joel Ajayi Olonibua and High Chief Olanrewaju Sunday, who both lauded the gesture as a significant boost to the welfare of widows in the community.
According to the foundation, the next phase of the widow palliative initiative will extend to Iyin and Igede Ekiti, ensuring that more vulnerable women across the state benefit from the programme.
Speaking on the outreach, the delegation of Yemi Oshe Foundation reaffirmed the foundation’s mission to empower and uplift the less privileged, particularly widows, who often bear the brunt of economic hardship. He noted that the initiative is part of the foundation’s broader vision of promoting compassion, community support, and sustainable assistance.
With each phase, the Yemi Oshe Foundation continues to cement its role as a beacon of hope and a model of purposeful philanthropy in Ekiti State.
