Yemi Oshe Foundation (Y.O.F) donated a complete public address (PA) sound system to a grassroots community project in Ado, Ekiti State. The system included speakers, microphones, amplifiers, and cables—empowering local leaders to organize public events, town hall meetings, trainings, and awareness campaigns with greater efficiency and reach.
This gesture came after community members voiced the challenge of inadequate communication tools during past meetings and youth engagement sessions.
“We now have a voice—literally and symbolically. This system will help us mobilize people for meaningful change.”
said Mr. Adefemi, the community development chairperson.
This initiative is directly tied to Objective #4 of the foundation—fostering community development through access to infrastructure.
It also strengthens Y.O.F’s core values of Empowerment and Sustainability, enabling the community to independently run their programs with lasting tools.
The donation has already served its first event: a community-wide hygiene sensitization rally, drawing over 200 attendees.
